Are you a secondary school educator in Camden?

Do you feel confident discussing topics like misogyny and sexual harassment with students?

Do you feel equipped to deliver key elements of the RSE curriculum?

Join us on 27th February at 16:00 for the next stage of our 'Ending Gender-Based Violence Teacher Toolkit' training: a free, 1 hour online session as part of the Mayor’s Office’s £1 million pledge to support London’s educators to address Gender-Based Violence.

As an educator, you play a vital role in safeguarding children and young people. This session will support you to:

• Boost your awareness of Gender-Based Violence and its prevalence in Camden.

• Increase your knowledge on the topics discussed within the Toolkit.

• Help develop your confidence in delivering lessons or activities focusing on Gender-Based Violence with children and young people.

The session will cover:

- An overview of the Gender-Based Violence discussed within the Toolkit to help boost your knowledge and confidence when completing the Toolkit activities to aid topic discussion.

- An opportunity for you to network with colleagues across the Borough and share practice.

- Information on support services available to you as an educator and those impacted by Gender-Based Violence.

- Information on how to support children and young people when raising awareness on this topic, or when responding to disclosure.
