Join us on 27th February at 16:00 for the next stage of our 'Ending Gender-Based Violence Teacher Toolkit' training: a free, 1 hour online session as part of the Mayor’s Office’s £1 million pledge to support London’s educators to address Gender-Based Violence.
As an educator, you play a vital role in safeguarding children and young people. This session will support you to:
• Boost your awareness of Gender-Based Violence and its prevalence in Camden.
• Increase your knowledge on the topics discussed within the Toolkit.
• Help develop your confidence in delivering lessons or activities focusing on Gender-Based Violence with children and young people.
The session will cover:
- An overview of the Gender-Based Violence discussed within the Toolkit to help boost your knowledge and confidence when completing the Toolkit activities to aid topic discussion.
- An opportunity for you to network with colleagues across the Borough and share practice.
- Information on support services available to you as an educator and those impacted by Gender-Based Violence.
- Information on how to support children and young people when raising awareness on this topic, or when responding to disclosure.
